The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. American Council of Academic Physical Therapy
Occupational Therapy Program
Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Program
The entry-level occupational therapy master’s degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), located at 7501 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 510E, Bethesda, MD 20814. ACOTE’s telephone number c/o AOTA is (301) 652-AOTA and its web address is www.acoteonline.org. Graduates of the program will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination for the occupational therapist administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR). In addition, all states require licensure in order to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on the results of the NBCOT Certification Examination. Note that a felony conviction may affect a graduate’s ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure.
Doctoral Degree Level Occupational Therapy Program

Master of Arts in Counseling Program
Accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs, for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling tracks of study.
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, Inc. (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program sponsored by University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards. Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be July 2035. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy. Master of Public Health Program
The UMHB Master of Public Health is an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health. The accreditation review will address the Master of Public Health degree. Other degrees and areas of study offered by this institution will not be included in the unit of accreditation review.

SARA is an agreement among member states, districts and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate postsecondary distance education and allows reciprocity facilitating the enrollment of students in online courses offered by SARA member institutions.
