Academic Core – 63 hours

POLS State & Federal Government I or II: Strongly recommended for cert prep but not required.
HIST American History I or II:Strongly recommended for cert prep but not required.
Art Major, B.F.A. with EC-12 Teacher Certification – 60 hours
12 hours (6 upper level ) at UMHB & 12 hours minimum upper level
Lower Level Classes – 30 hours
Upper Level Classes – 30 hours
Sophomore Review
Required after completion of 18 hours of Art
Pedagogy and Professional Practices – 22 hours
2.75 GPA Required

Admission to Teacher Education Program:
*Cumulative GPA must be a minimum of 2.5.
