ENGR 4370 Computer Science & Engineering Ethics Seminar
The capstone course for all CSE majors begins with discussions of the ethical impact of computer science and engineering on the human condition as well as more general questions concerning the impact of technology on society. From a distinctively Christian perspective, students will examine several philosophical systems of ethics with the stated purpose of examining the social and ethical responsibilities of CSE professionals. In light of all class discussions, students employ techniques to design and implement a hardware/software solution for a current volunteer project of Computer Science and Engineering. (Same as
CISC 4370) Prerequisite:
WRIT 3344 and Junior-standing CSE major. Lab fee.
