Computer Science, Engineering and Physics

The objective of the Department of Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics is to develop fully in our students their potential for excellence in professional Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and Engineering occupations. Through the efforts of a committed faculty who continually compares and aligns the curriculum with national standard, the student receives a broad education in the fundamental theoretical principles and applied technical knowledge of Computer Science and Engineering. The ultimate goal of the Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics Department is to prepareprofessionals in a Christian environment for careers in academia, industry, and government.
General Information
Students in this department can receive a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Computer Science, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cybersecurity, or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Engineering upon successful completion of all requirements. Under the major of Computer Science there are two specialization fields offered: Network Centric Specialization and Data Analysis and Visualization Specialization. A minor in Computer Science is also available. Under the major of Engineering, there are two concentrations offered: Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
No grade lower than “C” will be counted as a fulfillment of any major course requirement.
