Off-Site Components
Certain programs at the University require the student’s successful completion of an off-site component, such as a clinical rotation, internship, practicum, or student teaching. These off-site components are typically operated by separate institutions or organizations which are not controlled by the University and which may establish their own rules and conditions for participation. A student may be unable to complete a program of study and obtain a degree if he or she is unable to complete an off-site component or is excluded from participation by the University’s off-site providers. Students who have reason to believe that they may be barred from participation by any of the university’s off-site providers in their program of study are encouraged to determine early in the enrollment process what, if any, alternatives may be available.
Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to required off-site components.
