ARTS 4354 Christianity and Contemporary Culture
An introduction to the production and analysis of contemporary visual art and design within a broadly Christian cultural and historical context. Coursework includes a survey of historical and contemporary works of art, design, theory, and criticism that engage with Christianity specifically, and faith more generally. In addition to producing and analyzing works of art and design, students develop skills in writing, discussion, and oral presentation. Prerequisites: ARTS 2351 Art History I, ARTS 2352 Art History II, ARTS 2354 World Art, or Permission of Instructor. Fee.
