ENGL 3305 Foundations of English

This course will introduce students to the array of disciplines that come under the umbrella of English studies as well as the array of traditional modes of inquiry, conventions, and approaches that typify the field with a goal of exploring the relationships between English and the Christian faith. Focus will be on literature, composition and rhetoric, theory, digital humanities, and scholarship. Prerequisite: ENGL 1321, ENGL 1322, and one 2000-literature course; non-English majors and minors will also need instructor approval.
