ARTS 2101 Sophomore Art Seminar
Taken in tandem or the semester prior to Sophomore Review, students will learn basic portfolio building and artwork documentation skills. Artistic philosophies, media, and career paths will be explored to prepare students for upper-level art courses and build each individual’s portfolio used within the Sophomore Review process. When a student has completed 21 hours of ARTS courses, he/she is considered an “Art Sophomore” for the purpose of the seminar. Actual class standing may vary according to the Registrar. It is expected that Art Sophomores complete Drawing I, Drawing II, Design, Color Theory, Art History I and II, and 3-D Design before registering for Sophomore Art Seminar.
