COMM 4330 Special Topics in Public Relation

This course focuses on contemporary issues in PR. Today’s PR professionals have to be prepared to respond to various levels of crisis. Students will evaluate crisis situations, learn to create strategic communication plans and manage the media, while maintaining the organization’s reputation. Topics might include. But aren’t limited to: crisis communications, customer service in a technological age, reputation management, etc. Prerequisites: COMM 2330- Copy editing (or concurrent enrollment) and COMM 2370- Intro to Public Relations.
