CSCH 3320 Baptists in Black and White

This course examines the Civil Rights Movement in American from the perspective of the Baptist faith. Particular attention is given to Black Baptist leaders of the Civil Rights movement and to those white Baptists who either supported or resisted the movement. The course will also examine issues of racism and religious belief in the South. Prerequisites: CSBS 1311 and CSBS 1312.
