NURS 3401 Nursing Care for Reproductive, Maternal, and Neonatal Health
This clinical nursing course focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge to caring for female and male reproductive health, women’s perinatal health, and neonatal health in various healthcare practice settings. Through experiences in the classroom, simulation, and clinical environment, students will develop essential skills in patient assessment, care planning and coordination, and clinical decision- making. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, patient safety, and interprofessional collaboration. Students will incorporate professional nursing standards and values in their clinical experiences and apply faith-informed discernment to decision-making.
