NURS 4302 Professional Nursing Roles
This course examines the multifaceted roles of professional nurses in contemporary healthcare settings. Students will use evidence-based practice and clinical judgement to inform decision-making in diverse healthcare environments. Building upon foundational nursing knowledge, students will apply faith- informed discernment to professional nursing responsibilities such as nursing leadership, governance, and legal and ethical practice in a variety of health systems. Through examining the multifaceted roles, students will have the opportunity to reflect upon professional nursing as a calling and a ministry.
